Meet the Team:

Safiya Izza (Café Manager): She’s the one who allocates money to test the different flavor combinations for the beverages.

Iesha Blackwell (Assistant Manager): When you see all the events happening here, most likely it’s one of Iesha’s great ideas.

Sasha Grissel (Head Chef): Ever wonder who thought to mix two flavors together? Well you’re looking at her, she’s the mastermind behind new drinks and food items.

Lesley García (Lead Barista): Whenever you see that dazzling smile, just know you’re in good hands. Lesley promotes customer satisfaction with all her interactions.

Everybody enjoys cafés. But something better than your average café is a third space to interact with your community while also being able to indulge in handcrafted beverages.

While visiting a bunch of chain cafés our founder, Sana, couldn’t help but notice that all the “fun” flavors were reserved only for coffee drinkers. Restricted to the usual vanilla matcha lattes or bitter chai lattes, she had enough. Looking further she realized that all cafés followed the same list: minimalistic, modern and cold. No space for community which is key for the neighborhood and environment. She went home and began making her own unique drinks. The first couple of batches weren’t the best but were the prototypes of the beloved syrups used in-house today!

Making unique syrups for everyone’s ranging palletes isn’t hard and neither is giving back to your community. We deem the earth and local neighborhood as our community which is why we try to partner with local businesses as a way of tackling the sustainability issue that the world faces. Though we are vocal about being eco-friendly doesn’t mean that we cut corners with our quality, we consider our customers to be VIP and only deserving the best quality that one could pay for.

We serve our community: From the Postal Office workers to CEOs everyone is able to find a drink that matches them here at the Petal & Pour Cafe! Everyone is the community and we hope that everyone finds a unique beverage to call theres at our establishment.
